Dog Safety Visits Ahuriri!

The Christchurch City Council sent Caroline and Jack to Haslwell School so they could tell us about how to be safe around dogs.  We learned so much about keeping our sausages (fingers) curled away, never touching a dog that's on it's own, and always asking before approaching a dog.
Lining up to ask Caroline if we can touch Jack.

Role Playing, asking the owner if could pat their dog!

We loved it when Jack showed us how to beg!

If a dog's on it's own,
Leave it Alone!

Here are some of the play ideas we had this morning.

The Big Box that Jackson brought in was a lot of fun!

We take turns to read our reading book.  Karen comes in sometimes because she loves to hear us read!

This is Mrs Edwards old tent...so we went camping!

The Nests pre-school visited us, it was lovely to see our old friends.

We do have a lot of fun in the mornings in Ahuriri!
